一，申請人持研習中文停留簽證（簽證代碼FR）入境後，於同一所學校華語中心已連續研習中文4個月以上，並繼續註冊3個月，有長期研習必要者，得備妥下列文件及資料向領務局或四辦申請居留簽證：

Applicants entering with a Chinese language study visa (visa code FR), studying Chinese for over 4 months at the same school's language center, and continuing registration for an additional 3 months while needing long-term study, are eligible to prepare the listed documents and information for a residence visa application at either the Consular Affairs Bureau or the Quadrilateral Office：

 1.效期6個月以上之護照；Passport valid for at least 6 months.

2.簽證申請表（請上領務局或駐外館處網頁填寫並下載列印具條碼之申請表。另申請表必須由申請人親自簽名以確認申報內容屬實。）；Visa application form (please fill out and download the application form with barcode from the Consular Affairs Bureau or the embassy/consulate's website. Additionally, the application form must be personally signed by the applicant to confirm the accuracy of the declared information.)

3. 6個月內2吋、背景為白色之彩色照片2張；Two (2) color photos, 2 inches in size, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months.

4.教育部認可之大學附設華語文中心所核發之在學及註冊證明；Proof of enrollment and registration issued by a university-affiliated Chinese language center recognized by the Ministry of Education.

5.上課出席紀錄證明；Proof of attendance in classes.

6.成績單；Grade Transcript.

7.財力證明；Financial Statement.

8.研習中文計畫書；Chinese language study plan.

9.最近3個月內健康檢查合格證明，須由衛生福利部疾病管制署指定之國內體檢醫院出具，或由國外合格醫院出具，國外文件須翻譯為中文或英文，並須經駐外館處驗證，且檢查項目須符合該署「健康檢查證明應檢查項目表」之規定。Health check-up certificate issued within the last 3 months, from a domestic examination hospital designated by the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control, or from a qualified overseas hospital. Documents from overseas must be translated into Chinese or English, verified by the embassy/consulate, and the examination items must comply with the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control's "List of Health Examination Items."
