外國人申請居留証及延期簽證 - Application for Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) and Extension of Regular Visa for Foreigners.

一，申請資料 Application Documents：

1. 外國人居留申請表 Foreigner's Residence Application Form.

2. 護照 Passport.

3. 最近二年內二吋半身脫帽正面相片(同我國國民身分證相片規格) Two recent passport-sized (2.5 inches by 2 inches) frontal photos without hats taken within the last two years (following the same specifications as Taiwan's national ID card photos).

4. 當季學期出席表 Attendance record for the current semester.

5. 修課證明（中心開立）Proof of enrollment (issued by the center).

二，中心可提供資料 The center can provide the following information:

• 外國人居留申請表(可到中心領取空白紙本) Foreigner's Residence Application Form (Blank forms can be obtained from the center).

• 當季學期的出席表(請自行列印出席表，影本請找助理蓋上中心圓戳章) Attendance record for the current semester (Please print the attendance record yourself. For a copy, please ask an assistant to stamp it with the center's circular seal).

• 修課證明申請(請務必在前往移民署延期簽證之前提出申請!) Application for Proof of Enrollment (Please make sure to apply for proof of enrollment before going to the Immigration Office for visa extension).

三，修課證明申請步驟 Steps for Applying for Proof of Enrollment:

Step 1.請寫信到中心信箱，告知需要申請"修課證明" 

     (Email:clcndhu@gms.ndhu.edu.tw)

     EX:主旨【修課證明申請】  內文【1.姓名 2.班級 3.報名季節】

Step 1: Write an email to the center at clcndhu@gms.ndhu.edu.tw, indicating the need to apply for "Proof of Enrollment."

   Example: Subject: [Application for Proof of Enrollment Name / Class / Enrollment Season]

Step 2.中心會在2-3工作天内開發修課證明。完成後發通知來領取修課證明。

Step 2: The center will process the Proof of Enrollment within 2-3 working days. Once completed, a notification will be sent to collect the Proof of Enrollment.

四，注意事項 Notes:

• 中心會提供申請所需資料，請申請者以自己申請的類別作爲基準。The center will provide the necessary application materials. Applicants should use their own application category as a reference.

• 出席表上的出席率需達70%以上，才可以成功延長簽證效期。The attendance rate on the attendance record must be at least 70% to successfully extend the visa validity period.

• 委託他人代辦者，應於申請表上填寫委託聲明或另附委託書。For those who entrust others to handle the application, a power of attorney should be filled out on the application form or attached separately.

• 持落地簽證或以免簽證方式入國者，不得申請延期。 Individuals holding landing visas or entering the country on visa-exempt terms are not eligible for visa extension.

• 每次延期不得逾原簽證許可停留日期之期間。總計停留期間不得逾180日。Each extension cannot exceed the original visa's permitted stay duration. The total duration of stay cannot exceed 180 days.

• 超過180日，因不可抗力其他重大事故須延期停留者，應向停留地入出國及移民署服務站，事先提出申請。Those needing to extend their stay beyond 180 days due to force majeure or other significant incidents must apply in advance at the local immigration service station.

五，資料準備完後要去哪裏申請？After preparing the documents, where should you apply?

內政部移民署「外國與外僑、大陸與港澳、無戶籍國民學生線上申辦系統」（線上申請）

或是內政部移民署花蓮縣服務站 （到場申請）

You can apply through the Ministry of the Interior's National Immigration Agency's "外國與外僑、大陸與港澳、無戶籍國民學生線上申辦系統" (Online Application), or you can visit the Hualien County Service Station of the Ministry of the Interior's National Immigration Agency (In-person Application).
